High School Curriculum Guide

HCA High School is a challenging college prepartory program.

HCA is a place where students discover their talents, motivation and inspiration. During the high school years, our students make deep connections with their teachers and their peers. They become part of a tight knit community committed to learning and serving God. Our high school curriculum includes everything you would expect in a college preparatory high school- literature and history survey, biology, chemistry, physics, upper level math, language and numerous dual credit college courses. Innovative electives, experiential components, and technology bring the material to life and motivates students. Smaller classes encourage continual interaction, sharing of ideas, and allows teachers to establish a real rapport with each student.

HCA also utilizes Florida Virtual School and South Florida State College for courses that are accelerated and of special interest to the student.  Courses in high level math, computer programming, honors level Spanish, and AP courses are available through FLVS or SFSC.  Students work with the Acadmic Dean to determin the best course of study.

Our goal for each college student is that they have the courses necessary to achieve admittance into the college or university of their choice.
